Meet Me in St Louis

After a brief rerouting escapade to Miniapolis on account of thunderstorms at O’hare, a four-hour wait filled with a mountain of delicious Thai food and burning sunshine, and a 6 hour megabus trip that almost didn’t happen (I wrote down the wrong number from the online reservation), I am finally in St Louis. I passed the first fourteen hours asleep and then went for pizza so America is once again treating me very well, although it is more humid here than the Bornean jungle. Now I’m going back to the sofa for some quality vegging time.

So if you’re in the area, as the musical says, come down and meet me in St Louis!

About Jess UK

Fell in love with the crazy, inspiring, all-or-nothing world of disaster response and the wonderfully ridiculous, hard-working people who are drawn to it. Currently working in the Philippines as part of the recovery efforts after Typhoon Washi/Sendong! Want to know more? Check out disasterchasers.wordpress.com.
