All Hands Volunteers, Project Minot, volunteers

Another Red Carpet

Just days after gutting with the governor, tomorrow Congressman Berg will be joining us to get his hands dirty for a couple of hours. With 913 volunteer hours just two weeks in, Team Project Minot is getting things done. And quickly. With winter setting in soon in this neck of the woods every house counts and we had another one completed today. Let’s hope shiny clean shirts and visits from local dignitaries will pep the teams up enough to bust through another tomorrow. Only 1149 houses to go.

About Jess UK

Fell in love with the crazy, inspiring, all-or-nothing world of disaster response and the wonderfully ridiculous, hard-working people who are drawn to it. Currently working in the Philippines as part of the recovery efforts after Typhoon Washi/Sendong! Want to know more? Check out disasterchasers.wordpress.com.
